A call for help

We rely on donations, grants, and community partnerships with local businesses to exist and thrive. We are asking for your help. Give what you can to keep Goldfinch in flight!

Building Community Around the Arts

As our small company looks ahead to the future, we see a mountain of obstacles. Considering the health and safety of our people and the realities of running a nonprofit in good economic times (never mind tough ones), we know we have a duty to find creative solutions as we continue to create for our community.

With that in mind, we have worked diligently to develop programming that will appeal to local audiences, granting wide access to our work in a completely safe way. Each of the productions below will be recorded and presented as an audio-play adaptation on our Goldfinch Podcast Network (GPN). Select works will also be featured on the airwaves of Olympia’s KGY Radio 95.3FM. We are happy to partner with KGY, once again, to bring these beautiful theatrical pieces right into the homes of our patrons!

We understand the pandemic has brought great economic pain to many people. Seeing that struggle, we decided to produce this entire season free-of-cost to any who wish to spend a little time with our art. We will continue to incur the expenses of production and will rely solely on charitable donations to sustain our work.

Part of our purpose for existing has been that we seek to give artists a platform who would otherwise not have one. We must now add that we are here to help heal our broken community through art. We will carry on with both objectives in mind.

Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or if you want to participate in our work.

Thank you so much for your continued support!
